Last Saturday we went to see a temple. There wear lots of carved statues into the wall and all the people had their noses smashed off because the Muslims came and attacked. The Hindus built the temple. The temple had three places to pray to three different gods. The temple was built in the 1200s. There was Vishnu and Krishna but The third statue was put in in modern times and the third statue was also Vishnu.
We took a taxi to a parking place and then we walked the rest of the way in.
We went on a train to Mysore. Our train ride went in the middle of the night so it was very dark and way too boring. They didn't give us food on the train. When we got off the train we had to run over train tracks and then climb up a wall and then go over to the road and get an autorickshaw.
Mysore didn't have a lot of traffic like Bangalore. Bangalore has a car coming like every second and Mysore has a car coming every 50 seconds. There was a really boring palace that you had to follow a path and you couldn't just look around. It was pretty but boring.
The first horse-drawn cart was in Mysore where the first pony had a fluffy thing on its head. The second one had a bare head. Instead of taxis there was horse-drawn carts.
On the way back to Bangalore I got to see out the window because it was day time. It wasn't very dark. When we got back to Bangalore I got to buy a package of Sweet Hearts that are bread hearts with sugar and honey on them.
