The other day I went on a kayak trip and my arms hurt so much. On the first day we went to kayak for 3 or something hours and my arms hurt so much. When we were kayaking I saw two bears and we stopped where the bears were but the bears had already left and we didn't get to see them. The bears were black. They looked like tiny little dots. I was about a mile away from them. After we saw the bears we went and stopped on a beach for at least half an hour. After we left the beach we went to an island called Bird Island.
The next day me and Kalani and Dad started off to go to this river but we went into the coast instead of going straight across. But even though it was a lot slower we got there before nightfall. On the way we saw 3 sea eagles and a couple hawks. When we got about halfway to the river Glen started to go off and look for a cell signal and left us looking for a river that we wanted to go to. The rest of us (other than Glen) saw these trees that were nowhere else and they looked like they would be freshwater trees. So we went to them and that's where the river was. When we got to the river we couldn't see Glen so we decided to start a fire and wait for him. While we were waiting two Russian guys who were about 20 came in a truck out to the river and asked us questions. After about an hour of waiting Glen finally got back to the camp and he set up the tent.
On the next day we got up early in the morning and started to fish. My brother caught the first fish and all the excitement woke me up. Kalani's fish was about 8" long including the head and tail. We threw the fish back in. Glen caught a pretty big trout that was about a foot long. About 20 minutes after Glen caught his fish Kalani caught a big silver salmon that was about 18" big. I cleaned every single fish except for Anita's fish. After we ate Kalani's fish and the other fish we started to go to a little space in the lake that goes out to the ocean. It took us about 6 hours to get to the ocean and dock.
