We went to the Little Rann of Katch in a pretty small jeep. The jeep was super-cold. It was about 1 degree. We had to go to a place to get insurance to go into the Little Rann of Katch.
In the Little Rann of Katch at first we didn't see anything except another jeep. After a little while we saw a group of wild asses. And then we kept going and we saw Siberian Cranes. After we took some photos of the Siberian Cranes and we went and then saw chittals. A chittal is a deer-like animal. It's a type of antelope. After the chittal we saw lots of blue bull. Blue bull are not blue, they are tan. And, as you would expect, they look like a cow but they're bigger than a cow. After we saw the blue bull we saw more asses. The asses are also tan with a white stripe on their spine. When I saw the asses I felt weird cuz I was wondering why they are called asses.
After we were finished seeing in the dry desert we went to a lake and saw lots and lots of flamingo. Two types: greater flamingo and lesser flamingo. The lesser flamingo is smaller than the greater flamingo and it has bright pink feathers and the greater flamingo has paler feathers. I couldn't believe how many flamingos there were. There were about 200 flamingos. On the rim of the water there was lots and lots of feathers of greater flamingos and lesser flamingos.
We drove through the desert all day long because we decided instead of staying in the guy's house we stayed in his huts near the desert. On the way to the huts we went to a salt-producing factory. There was no factory at all, just lots and lots of salt fields. The salt gets as small as a speck of dust and as big as a rock. After we went to the factory of salt we went to where they were gathering the salt and storing it. There were huge piles of salt: about to the 2nd floor of a house. At the piles of salt we got to take some salt home.
