Lots of deer

(Mom typing)
Last Saturday we went to BRT and MM Hills.  We saw so many deer and pigs and monkeys at BRT.   BRT is way different from Bangalore.  It's not city at all, it's just plants and animals.  We stayed in a cabin in the woods from the company that my mom's working with in India.  Lots of monkeys came in the evening.  When they all came in there was some baby monkeys and all the baby monkeys went up on a tree and jumped on the roof.  I saw one baby monkey swinging across a telephone wire onto the building.  A monkey went up an avocado tree and the dogs that were there they went running after it and it kept squeezing avocados to see if they were ripe or not ripe.  When they were not ripe the monkey kept throwing them down at the dog.  One almost hit the dog.  Monkeys are really smart animals.

The power went out about four times.  It was super-annoying -- I didn't really like it, but at least I got to write in my journal by candlelight.

On the way back we went to a restaurant.  Once we got our food a guy came in stumbling.  When he sat down he started barfing a million times.  I thought it was pretty funny.  The restaurant was outside so he didn't really barf inside something.

Here is what I wrote in my journal:
29/9:    I saw a sikad (Mom's note: cycad).  It looks like a sikad ok (Mom's note: he drew a picture of it).  And I saw 4 monkeys.  I junpt on the roof.  2 monkeys got in a fight.  I am writing in candle lite!
30/9:     We went to BRT.  A kid liked me he showed us lots of things.  He made my mom go in the exit of the temple.  After we went to MM Hills.  We saw a lot of monkies.
1/10:     Today we went to a village.  We saw lots of adobe houses.  And we saw a lantana factory.  We went to a temple.  It is real gold.
2/10:     Today we went back to Bangalore.  On the ride home we saw a person barfing.  After we went to a waterfall.  My dad went swimming in underwear.

I think it's gross that you saw the man barfing. I think that's funny that the money was throwing the avocados at the dog. And I think you were like thieves when you climbed over that wall. Do you know about Animal Jam? You can type it in the computer then you will see it then you write your name and then you choose a password for yourself.

Hi Kekai,

I look for your blogs every day and I am glad that you are having such an interesting time in India. Your observations and comments are always very astute (let your mom or dad explain that word to you). Keep it up.
At the end of the year you should have a nice diary to remember what you have experienced. The photographs will also help.

Do you still have the sunglasses we bought in San Diego?

Love to everyone.
