after the ceremony we went to the beach when we got there there was one section that was really crowded we went to the right where nobody was swimming when we jumped in the water a guard whistled and told us we couldn't swim there because it had sharks!!!! of course there was no sharks in the water 5 metres away! then he told us that it dropped off suddenly we splashed a little in the shallows but got bored so we built a sand castle instead.
on the 30 of may we went with my friend prabhanjanas aunts and uncles and grandparents to his Bhramopadesham. which is a ceremony where traditionally he would leave to be an apprentice and not see his parents for 20 years. now its all ceremonial and he stays living with his parents.there are photos of most of the ceremony.they wrapped him in a cloth with his hand on his head then tied the cloth on then they gave him his yajnopavita three strings that symbolize being a Brahmin and having a been born for the second time. after the ceremony we went to the beach when we got there there was one section that was really crowded we went to the right where nobody was swimming when we jumped in the water a guard whistled and told us we couldn't swim there because it had sharks!!!! of course there was no sharks in the water 5 metres away! then he told us that it dropped off suddenly we splashed a little in the shallows but got bored so we built a sand castle instead.
